Wishes for Keshav

and Akshaya

 

I wish for each of you,
grandson and granddaughter,
awareness of the everlasting
light that dwells within you.

I wish for each of you an
independent spirit with a
curious and critical mind that
protects you from the formulae
and corruption of others.

I wish for each of you an open
heart that overflows with courage,
passion, joy, and generosity.

I wish for each of you the love
and guidance that encourages 
excellence but neither dictates
nor consumes.

And when the time comes,
I wish for each of you a kind
and loving son or daughter
who will give the same solidarity
and devotion to you that your
father once gave to me.
