Memoir
The horizon of my youth was dark, blanketed by the suffocating gray of poverty and ignorance. But I refused to let that remain the defining color in my search for a way of making a living that provided not only financial security, but more importantly, a sense of fulfillment and self-respect. I viewed my life through the lens of a rainbow, one that began in those early years, arched through the colorful and chaotic spectrum of trials and errors, and led me to my ultimate goal at the end of my rainbow. And as it turned out, this milestone opened the door to a new pursuit, promising an even greater sense of fulfillment and self-respect.
